RADHA KRISHNA

aṣṭāvakro'pi lalito dalito dṛṣṭi-sampadā virājate
yuvāṃ loke paripūrṇa-sukhaṃ viharato rādhā-kṛṣṇau |
tvadīyābhirvilāsa-pūrvakamidaṃ janmārjitam punaḥ tadīyābhyarcanaṃ kuru mudaṃ dayāmṛtaikādhiṣṭhāne ||

The meaning of this shloka is- Even though you are crooked but have a beautiful face. You always find fault in the eyes of the gopis and steal their clothes. Still, you are always sweet to those who worship you. Thus, your lotus feet are the only shelter for those who desire liberation, and your playful pastimes are the delight of everyone.

Radha and Krishna, please bestow upon me the ecstasy of serving you in the nectar of your mercy.

Radha Krishna is the divine couple of Hindu mythology, who represents the eternal love and devotion between the human soul and the divine. Radha is believed to be the embodiment of divine love and devotion, while Krishna is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who is the preserver of the universe. The love story of Radha and Krishna is an allegory for the union of the individual soul with the divine consciousness.

People worship Radha Krishna for various reasons, including their love and devotion to the divine, their faith in the power of love, and their desire for spiritual enlightenment. The worship of Radha Krishna is said to bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to the devotee's life, and to help them develop a deeper understanding of the divine mysteries.

Radha Krishna is worshipped throughout the year, but on Lord Krishna's birthday, known as Janmashtami, people around the world will worship him with great enthusiasm. Janmashtami falls in the month of August or September and is a time for fasting, prayer, and offering special foods and sweets to the deities. Radha Krishna is also worshipped during other festivals such as Holi, Diwali, and Navaratri.

Radha Krishna paintings can be placed anywhere, but many people prefer to have the picture in the puja room, where they can offer their prayers and meditate.  For many special occasions, gifting the Radha Krishna painting is one of the best ideas to share your wishes and blessings.
